It starts with a sleeper train to Chumphon. Unfortunately I left booking my ticket too late, so I had to settle with a 2nd class sleeper, that only had a fan and no AC. Thinking this is going to be the longest ride of my life, especially because I was traveling with a friend for the past few weeks, this journey I was making by myself again.
But I get on the train and that cabin is full of backpackers so I feel a bit better and as backpackers do we get chatting as if we knew each other for years.
Anyways we reach our station an 3:40am, the bus to the ferry is only at 7am and so the station is full of a bunch of tired, grogy and sleepy backpackers.
So the next day was of course spent sleeping in the nice cool ac dorm room, for the most part but then we got our selves out of bed and to the beach, a different beach on the island that is not as busy and kind off hidden away, really cool. We watched the sunset from there, and it was the most beautiful sunset I ever saw, over the horizon with the most spectacular view. After that we got dinner right on the beach, no really on the beach.
And that was my Koh Tao experience.
