Amazingly the real jungle was a lot more calmer than the concrete/urban jungle of Bangkok. It seemed to me to be a lot more peaceful here as opposed to the city, so I ponder why we call cities urban jungles? Because they are nothing like a Jungle is, there is no hustle and bustle like you find in the city, there are no crowds of animals as you find crowds of people in the city, and it seems like there is a lot more order here than there is in the city, in my opinion they seem completely opposite to one another.
So I went from: So I traveled from Bangkok to a town called Pak Chong for a few tours in and around the Khoyai National park. I was coming from an urban jungle to a real jungle. Anyways I saw some amazing things on my tours, from all sorts of creatures like snakes and scorpions, to the Hornbill bird and even Gibbons which are monkeys that make this amazing sound that’s almost like music. Unfortunately it was raining during our hike through the Jungle, so to protect my camera I didn't take much pictures during our hike, but I must say was a great experience to hike through a rain forest in the rain.

Hi Mamta, your thoughts of Urban jungle vs the real jungls are so true and yet we keep using this term. I think the only reason it's called the urban jungle is the density of trees, plants, vegetation all cramped close together in the real jungle being compared to the concrete, bricks, buildings, houses, tarmac etc also cramped close together in the Urban jungle. and you right as far as people and animals are concerned (in both jungles) there is no comparision

Pak Chong seems like a great, but dangerous place to hike through. I prefer the real jungle. At least there nobody pretends they don't want to eat you.
