This is what is was like in the city: And then I got to my hotel, and I still had some day light time, so I took a walk, just over a river bridge not far from the Hotel I was staying at (I guess you could describe it as the back yard of the hotel). Here I had a completely different experience of the festivities, here it felt so much more simpler and even more genuine and pure. It was celebrated here with families, parents with there children together sat out side there homes and splashed and sprayed every person, motorcycle and taxi that went past, but it was the feeling that was different to the mass chaos in the city, there was a sense of innocence and pureness and just simplicity here. I envied the people here more., and I much rather preferred watching them celebrate, and seeing the excitement of the kids when splashing people and the excitement of the parents to see their kids so excited.
